Stephanie Fister is an LPCA who has worked in various professional settings and treatment centers helping others achieve goals relating to wellness, career satisfaction and interpersonal relationships. As a counselor, Stephanie provides an accepting therapeutic environment for clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, work or parenting stress, self-esteem issues, and conflict. She thrives on helping her clients feel understood and empowered to find evidence based solutions.Stephanie offers a compassionate, client-centered approach that encourages self-awareness and accountability. In addition to a MA in Communication from the University of Cincinnati and a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands, Stephanie has received training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy,and Grief therapy. She offers practical interventions and coping skills for life stressors that are unique to each client’s personality and situation.With over 20 years of experience equipping people with interpersonal communication skills, Stephanie believes in the importance of healthy assertiveness and boundary setting. She has effectively helped clients prepare for difficult conversations and adopt a peaceful, productive approach to conflict resolution.
