Maria Raya, LCSW
Maria is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and her Master’s in Social Work from Northern Kentucky University. Over the past seven years, she has worked with adolescents and adults in both inpatient psychiatric and outpatient settings, providing individual and group therapy.
Her training includes Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She believes healing begins with understanding the connection between thoughts, emotions, and the body. In sessions, she integrates practical coping tools with space for reflection and deeper emotional growth, always moving at a pace that feels safe and supportive.
She works with individuals ages 12 and older who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, mood challenges, or life transitions. She has a special interest in supporting teens exploring identity, adults feeling overwhelmed or burned out, individuals navigating significant life changes, and those working through the impact of trauma.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. She strives to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they build confidence and resilience.
